Michael Rosenkranz

Michael Rosenkranz was born in Stuttgart in 1948. He studied human medicine in Stuttgart-Hohenheim and Freiburg and completed his state examination in 1975. He received his medical license in 1976 and subsequently trained as a surgeon and general practitioner. From 1990 to 2015, he ran a family medical practice in Bochum-Wattenscheid together with his wife. An unusual complement to his medical career was non-medical training as a puppeteer, which he completed in Bochum from 1977 to 1979. From 1996 onward, Rosenkranz worked on behalf of the Jewish Community of Bochum-Herne-Hattingen as a lecturer and writer on Jewish religious subjects.
