Michael Lewis (born 1960) is an economic journalist and nonfiction author. He studied at Princeton University and the London School of Economics. Before becoming a writer, he worked as an investment banker, an experience he drew on in his debut book, »Liar’s Poker« (1989). His best-known works include »Moneyball«, »The Blind Side«, »The Big Short« and »Flash Boys«. Several of his books have been adapted into films, including »Moneyball«, »The Blind Side« and »The Big Short«.
