Michael Kimmerle

Michael Kimmerle was born in 1942. He began gliding in 1956 and took up powered flight in 1968. His aviation experience included participation in the Deutschlandflug in 1971, an instrument flight rules (IFR) rating, and flying various aircraft, including the Morane 100, Beechcraft Bonanza, and TBM 850. He reportedly completed approximately 7,500 flight hours in total.
