Michael J Sullivan

Michael J. Sullivan, born in Detroit in 1961, began his career as an illustrator and artist and founded his own advertising agency. In 2005, he turned to writing full-time. He is best known for the fantasy series Riyria, about a pair of thieves. Initially self-published as a six-book series, Riyria was later acquired by US publishers. Sullivan’s novels have been translated into 14 languages and have received more than 100 awards.
