Michael Bohne, M.D., is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy as well as a physician, coach, and trainer. He developed Process- and Embodiment-Focused Psychology (PEP), combining tapping techniques with psychodynamic and hypnosystemic approaches. As a performance coach, he worked with journalists from ARD and ZDF, orchestra musicians, and internationally performing opera singers. He also worked as a coach and management trainer for companies and held teaching positions at several music academies. Bohne is the author and editor of numerous books on PEP, tapping techniques, mental strength, and performance optimization. He also supported research projects on tapping techniques and PEP, including studies using functional magnetic resonance imaging.
