Michael Ballhaus

Michael Ballhaus (born 1935) was a German cinematographer and visual artist. Over a career spanning approximately four decades, he shot around 80 feature films, including 15 with Rainer Werner Fassbinder. He also worked with directors such as Martin Scorsese, Mike Nichols, Francis Ford Coppola, Peter Lilienthal, Wolfgang Petersen, and Robert Redford.
