Michael A. Martin published short stories in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction. Together with Andy Mangels, he wrote several Star Trek comics for Marvel and WildStorm, as well as numerous Star Trek novels and e-books, including Star Trek: Titan—A New Era, Star Trek: Titan—The Red King, and Star Trek: The Next Generation—Section 31: Rogue. The writing team also produced three novels based on the television series Roswell and contributed stories to several Star Trek anthologies. Martin additionally wrote nonfiction books for young readers.
