Maylis Kerangal, born in 1967 in Toulon, is a French writer. She has published novels, essays and collections of short stories. Her 2010 novel “Die Brücke von Coca” received the Prix Médicis. Her novel “Die Lebenden reparieren” won numerous awards and was adapted into a film in 2016.
