Matthias Schulz (born 1962) is a state-certified technical translator and technical editor. From 1985 to 1990, he established and headed the technical documentation department at Arburg Maschinenfabrik in Loßburg, Germany. Since 1990, he has worked as a technical translator, editor and consultant specialising in CE marking and machinery safety. His areas of expertise include the EC Machinery Directive, risk assessment, and the clear and standards-compliant preparation of safety-related information. Since 1991, he has published several guides and specialist works on these subjects.
