Jamie Bartlett is a British technology author and thinker. In 2010, he founded a research centre that developed and applied artificial-intelligence software to investigate social trends. As director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media at the think tank Demos, he focused on online social movements and technology’s impact on society. Bartlett wrote and presented several BBC podcast series, including “The Missing Cryptoqueen”, which reached number one in the international podcast charts. He also became known for a TED Talk about buying drugs on darknet markets. His books include “The Dark Net”.
