Matthias Reichelt

Matthias Reichelt (born 1955 in Leipzig) studied American Studies and German Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. He worked as a freelance cultural journalist, curator, exhibition organizer, author, filmmaker, editor and publisher. His publications include Jean Toche. Die Kultur der Angst (2010) and Global Fight Club. Aspects of Terror in Contemporary Art (2011). He also conceived and organized numerous exhibitions and published accompanying monographs, including Hansgert Lambers: Verweilter Augenblick/Lingering Moment (2022) and Timm Ulrichs: Ich, Gott & die Welt. 100 Tage – 100 Werke – 100 Autoren (2020).
