Mathieu Lauffray

Matthieu Lauffray was born in Paris in 1970 and studied at an art school, where he earned his master’s degree with a comic. He subsequently worked as a designer on films such as “Brotherhood of the Wolf” and “Vidocq” and drew numerous covers for “Star Wars” comics published by the US publisher Dark Horse. From 2000, he developed the series “The Third Testament” with writer Xavier Dorison. He began the series “Long John Silver” in 2006. In 2017, he published two volumes in the “Valerian and Laureline” series, based on scripts by Manu Larcenet and Wilfrid Lupano, respectively.
