Mathias Iven (born 1960) studied philosophy, political and legal sciences, and psychology, and earned a doctorate. He worked as an editor and edited several books, including works on the literary history of Potsdam from 1945 to 1950. His editorial work includes co-editing the works of Moritz Schlick, as well as new editions of Schlick’s “Lebensweisheit” and “Fragen der Ethik” and the correspondence between Schlick and Ludwig Wittgenstein. He also published numerous reviews and articles. His books include “Hermann Hesse in Montagnola,” “Lebenswege des Friedrich Nietzsche,” and “Virginia Woolf in Rodmell”.
