Mary E. Pearson

Mary E. Pearson was born in Southern California in 1955. After studying at a university in San Diego, she taught for many years before devoting herself fully to writing. Her work spans young adult and literary fiction, and she became particularly known for The Remnant Chronicles and the duology Dance of Thieves and Vow of Thieves. Her novel Zweiunddieselbe, the first volume of the Jenna Fox trilogy, was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in 2010. Pearson has also achieved New York Times bestseller status.
