Martin Woesler

Martin Woesler, born in Münster in 1969, is a sinologist, cultural scholar, and translator. His professional career includes professorships in Germany, the United States, and Italy, as well as work at Witten/Herdecke University. His scholarly work has addressed media cultures and digitalization in China, including the social credit system. Together with Zhang Renli, he worked on a Chinese dictionary.
