Martin Baresch

Martin Baresch was born in 1954 in Eislingen/Fils, Germany. After training as a tax adviser, he became a freelance writer and translator. He published books for young readers and adults, including novels and tie-in books related to film and television productions such as “Joey,” “Das Arche-Noah-Prinzip,” and “Stargate SG-1.” He also wrote thrillers, several “Tatort” books, and the series “Sherlock Holmes – Die geheimen Kriminalfälle,” and worked as a ghostwriter. In 2004, he was nominated for the Kurd Laßwitz Award in the “Best Translator” category. He began writing his own adventure stories as a child.
