Marta Dzido (born 1981) is a writer, director, and documentary film producer. She studied at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. Her publications include several novels and the nonfiction book *Women of Solidarity*, which have been translated into several languages. She received the European Literature Prize in 2019 for her 2018 novel *Frajda*. Her documentary films *Downtown* and *Solidarity according to Women* have also received multiple awards. *Schweinebaumeln* was her first title published in German.
