Antje Ritter-Miller (born 1975) studied Polish studies, philosophy, East European studies and German as a foreign language in Berlin, Warsaw and Wrocław. In 2006, she founded Vliegen Verlag. From 2007 to 2017, she served as editor-in-chief of the magazine polenplus; in 2008, she received the Viadrina Prize. She also worked as a freelance literary translator from Polish, translating works by authors including Sylwia Chutnik, Dorota Danielewicz and Klementyna Suchanow.
