Marta Balmaseda

Marta Balmaseda was born in Gijón, Spain, and studied art education and fine arts in Seville. She subsequently worked there for several years as a graphic designer before focusing on illustration and mural painting. Together with a nonprofit organization, she created murals for children’s hospitals in various countries over a period of several years. Her work includes children’s book illustrations published internationally, including “Widder Willi will aber!”; she has contributed to more than 20 books in total.
