Markus Zusak

Markus Zusak is the author of six novels, including *Bridge of Clay*, *The Book Thief* and *I Am the Messenger*. *The Book Thief* and *I Am the Messenger* received the German Youth Literature Prize, along with numerous other awards. His books have been translated into more than forty languages.
