Markus C. Hurek works as a photographer and political journalist. His photographs have appeared in numerous German newspapers and magazines, as well as in photobooks and on book covers. In 2024, he received the Rückblende Prize for the year’s best political photograph. He was also appointed to the German Society for Photography (DGPh).
