Mark Lanegan was an American singer and songwriter. He was the frontman of the band Screaming Trees from 1983 to 2000. He released his first solo album in 1990, followed by around a dozen more over the course of his career. He also collaborated with artists and bands including Kurt Cobain, Pearl Jam, Marianne Faithfull, Moby, Queens of the Stone Age, UNKLE, Greg Dulli, PJ Harvey, and Isobel Campbell. Lanegan died in Ireland in 2022.
