Marion Hartlieb

Marion Hartlieb (born 1965 in Ulm, Germany) trained as a graphic designer and later worked in textile design. Her work focused on women’s, children’s and baby fashion, particularly character design. In this capacity, she created figures and characters for international labels including Galeries Lafayette and Walt Disney. From 2010 onward, she published picture books of her own, including *Prinzessin Tadaah*, *Sissi – Prinzessin Wirbelwind* and *Wie der kleine Wal in den Blautopf kam*. She also illustrated works by other authors, including Marco Kerler’s *Volkslyrik* and Nathalie Gérard’s *Die Hexe Pieksepelz*.
