Marianna Coppo

Marianna Coppo is an author and illustrator. She studied children’s literature in Bologna and illustration in Milan. Her picture books, created using a mixed technique of tempera, pastels, and digital collage, have been translated into several languages and have received numerous awards or award nominations. Her picture book “Petra” (German edition: “Steinchen,” 2022) was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal and was selected by Kirkus as one of the best picture books of the year.
