Maria Mill

Maria Mill studied German and English literature in Munich and Houston, followed by literary translation in Munich. She worked as a literary translator, editor, and author, and published travel books, including illustrated volumes on Egypt, Mexico, the Côte d’Azur, southern France, Lake Garda, Swabia, and Syria. Authors whose works she translated into German include Anne Enright, Elizabeth Gilbert, Esther Freud, Martha Grimes, Anaïs Nin, and Robert Hughes.
