Maria Galizia-Fischer

Maria Galizia-Fischer, born in 1933 in Merenschwand, Switzerland, was the fourth of ten children. She attended a girls’ secondary school and a domestic science teacher-training college in Aarau, and worked as a home economics teacher in Merenschwand and Beinwil. She was married to the sculptor Rico Galizia and managed his artistic estate after his death. Her interests included art and literature.
