Marcus Willaschek is a philosopher who was a professor of modern philosophy at Goethe University Frankfurt. At the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, he was involved in the scholarly standard edition of Immanuel Kant’s writings. His publications include *Praktische Vernunft. Handlungstheorie und Moralbegründung bei Kant* (1992), *Der mentale Zugang zur Welt: Realismus, Skeptizismus, Intentionalität* (2003), the three-volume *Kant-Lexikon* (2015), and *Kant on the Sources of Metaphysics* (2018).
