Marcus Krause

Marcus Krause is a literary scholar. He worked as a research associate at the University of Cologne, the research center “Media and Cultural Communication” in Cologne, and the Emmy Noether Research Group “The Cultural History of Human Experimentation” in Bonn. He has published works on authors including Gottfried Benn, E. T. A. Hoffmann, Sigmund Freud, Robert Musil, and Thomas Pynchon, as well as books on the television series The Wire, the relationship between media and conspiracy theories, the cultural history of human experimentation, and processes of normalization.
