Marco Wiersch

Marco Wiersch, born in Dinslaken in 1971, trained as a psychologist. He worked as a copywriter, actor, stage director, cabaret artist and slam poet before completing a film degree in Hamburg in 2002. He subsequently worked as a screenwriter and director, including on “Der Fall Barschel” and the television series “Tatort.” A lifelong comic fan, he made his graphic-novel debut with “Freistaat Flaschenhals.”
