Marco De Franchi

Marco De Franchi was born in Rome in 1962. He worked as a senior police inspector with the Italian police, including several years in a special unit. He drew on these experiences for his debut thriller, “Das zweite Kind” (“The Second Child”). As a child, he wanted to become either a writer or a detective.
