Maggie Shipstead

Maggie Shipstead, born in California in 1983, is an American writer. She studied American literature at Harvard before attending the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was taught by Zadie Smith. Her debut novel, »Seating Arrangements«, received the Dylan Thomas Prize. Her third novel, »Great Circle«, was shortlisted for the 2021 Booker Prize and the 2022 Women’s Prize for Fiction.
