Lutz Hagestedt

Lutz Hagestedt (born 1960 in Goslar) is a literary scholar, literary critic, and author. He earned a doctorate in modern German literature and worked as a research associate at the Institute of Modern German Literature and Media at Philipps University Marburg. He subsequently taught as a professor of modern and contemporary German literature at the University of Rostock. His publications and research include studies of E. T. A. Hoffmann, Ludwig Tieck, and contemporary literature. In 2002, he edited the volume *Alles über den Künstler. Zum Werk von Robert Gernhardt*.
