Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong’o is a Kenyan actress and producer. She received the 2014 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her feature-film debut in “12 Years a Slave,” along with, among other honors, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Critics’ Choice Award, an Independent Spirit Award, and an NAACP award. Her other notable film roles include “Queen of Katwe,” “Black Panther,” and “Us.” She received a Tony Award nomination for her Broadway debut in Danai Gurira’s play “Eclipsed.”
