Ludwig Erhard

Ludwig Wilhelm Erhard (1897–1977) was a German politician and economist. He served as Vice Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1957 to 1963 and as its second Federal Chancellor from 1963 to 1966. He is regarded as a leading figure of the German economic miracle and one of the key proponents of the social market economy.
