Lisa Tetzner

Lisa Tetzner (1894–1963) was a German-Swiss children’s author, storyteller, and director of children’s radio programming. She became known especially for socially engaged works such as the series The Children from No. 67 and Hans Urian. In 1933, she went into Swiss exile with her husband, Kurt Kläber, who wrote under the name Kurt Held. She died in Carona, in the canton of Ticino.
