Linda Dielemans

Dutch author and archaeologist Linda Dielemans (born 1981) began filling notebooks with writing as a child. She first trained as an oboist at a conservatory before studying archaeology. Her novel *The Shadow of the Lion* was named the best historical young adult book of 2019 by the youth jury of the Thea Beckman Prize and by the Senate of the Dutch Children’s Jury.
