Leonard Mlodinow

Leonard Mlodinow was a physicist and author. He earned a PhD in physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and taught at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena. As an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow, he worked at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Garching, Germany. He was also known as a co-author of Stephen Hawking on “A Briefer History of Time” and “The Grand Design.” In addition, Mlodinow wrote scripts for the television series “MacGyver” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” as well as popular science books including “Feynman’s Rainbow” and “The Drunkard’s Walk.”
