Laura Trethewey

Laura Trethewey is the author of several nonfiction books and a journalist specializing in environmental and marine topics. Her articles appeared in publications including The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, and Canadian Geographic. She studied creative writing at the University of British Columbia and taught creative nonfiction writing at Sheridan College in Ontario. In 2020, she received the Writers’ Trust of Canada Rising Star Award.
