Lars Hannig was born in Münsterland in 1985. He studied game design (B.Sc.) and worked in the games industry while pursuing his writing. Since 2005, he has written novels and short stories in the genres of fantasy, steampunk, and thriller. In 2007, he qualified for the author development program of the Academy for Children’s Media. Hannig has also worked as an IT specialist and published texts in anthologies. *Die phantastischen Fälle des Robert Fuchs* was his first standalone publication in the steampunk genre.
