Lara De Simone

Lara De Simone was born in Heidelberg in 1993 and grew up speaking German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. She began working on her novel *Linkshänderland* at the age of 13 and continued writing during her school holidays. In 2012, she received an award at the Treffen junger Autoren competition organized by the Berliner Festspiele.
