Klaus Peter Strohmeier

Klaus Peter Strohmeier, Dr. rer. soc., was born in 1948 in the Ruhr region of Germany. He was a professor of sociology at Ruhr University Bochum, specializing in urban, regional and family sociology. Until 2014, he headed ZEFIR, the university’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Regional Research.
