Kim Schmidt

Kim Schmidt (born 1965) is a comic artist, author and children’s book illustrator from northern Germany. His comics and cartoon series include “Local Heroes,” “Störtebeker” and “Kleiner Thor.” He also created cartoon maps such as “Hedwig-Holzbein,” “Deutschlandkarte” and “Freistaat Blayern.” As an illustrator, he contributed to the children’s book series “Die drei ??? Kids,” as well as “Rick” and “Die Super Jumper.” Schmidt also published the instructional books “Kims Comiczeichenkurs,” “Comicfiguren zeichnen Step by Step” and “Comiczeichenkurs-Workbook,” and supported aspiring artists through drawing and comic workshops.
