Boris Pfeiffer, born in Berlin in 1964, first worked as a bookseller and taxi driver. He studied linguistics and landscape planning at Technische Universität Berlin and screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. He subsequently worked as a director’s assistant, director and writer in theatre, including at Berlin’s GRIPS Theater. His first children’s book was published in 2003. He went on to write numerous children’s and young adult books, including volumes in the “Die drei ??? Kids” series as well as “Das Wilde Pack,” “Unsichtbar und trotzdem da!” and “Die Akademie der Abenteuer.” He also wrote novels, plays, radio dramas, screenplays and musicals. Some of his works received awards and were translated into several languages. Pfeiffer also contributed to various projects promoting children’s reading skills.
