Kim Jiyun

Kim Jiyun was born in 1992 and grew up in Seoul. She studied creative writing, wrote screenplays and took acting classes. Her first novel, »The Diary in the Laundromat of Smiling Dreams«, was inspired by a brightly lit laundromat she encountered one night in Seoul’s Hongdae district. »Kimchi zum Frühstück« is her second novel published in German.
