Kevin Liggieri (born 1986) is a scholar with a doctorate. He worked as a research associate in the history of technology at TU Darmstadt and as a research fellow in science studies at ETH Zurich. Earlier, he was a doctoral researcher at Ruhr University Bochum and a fellow of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. In 2015, he edited the volume “Fröhliche Wissenschaft”. Zur Genealogie des Lachens, followed in 2018 by “Das Wunder des Verstehens”. Ein interdisziplinärer Blick auf ein „außer-ordentliches“ Phänomen. His dissertation received the Carlo Barck Prize from the Centre for Literary and Cultural Research in 2017 and the Dissertation Prize of the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities in Essen in 2018.
