Kerstin Reimers was born in Hamburg and studied German, philosophy, and art education in Frankfurt am Main. She developed a strong interest in photography, particularly travel photography. Following a one-year stay in Norway, she traveled through the country with her camera, from Lindesnes to the North Cape.
