Kersten Knipp (born 1966) is a Romance-language scholar, journalist, and author. He worked for Deutsche Welle, Deutschlandfunk, WDR, and other ARD broadcasters, and contributed to print publications including the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. His main subjects are the cultural history of the Romance-speaking world and the contemporary history and politics of the Middle East and the Arab world. He has published several books, including Paris unterm Hakenkreuz. Alltag im Ausnahmezustand.
