Kengo Kuma

Kengo Kuma, born in 1954 in Yokohama, is a Japanese architect. He studied at the University of Tokyo and pursued further studies at Columbia University in New York. In 1979, he founded the Spatial Design Studio, followed in 1990 by the architecture firm Kengo Kuma & Associates. He also taught at the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Tokyo.
