Philip Jodidio studied art history and economics at Harvard University. For more than two decades, he was editor-in-chief of the French art magazine Connaissance des Arts. He published numerous books on contemporary architecture and art, as well as on the cultural activities of the Aga Khan. His works include Architecture: Art, Architecture: Nature and Under the Eaves of Architecture, along with monographs on architects such as Tadao Ando, Norman Foster, Renzo Piano, Jean Nouvel and Zaha Hadid.
