Katya Tylevich

Katya Tylevich is a writer and essayist whose work focuses on art, architecture, design, and film. She is the author of *Gus Van Sant: The Art of Making Movies* and *Art Oracles*, and co-author of *My Life as a Work of Art*. She has also contributed to books, monographs, and exhibition catalogues, as well as writing essays and interviews. As an editor and writer, she worked for publications including *Elephant*, *Mark*, *Frame*, *Domus*, and *Pin-Up*. Her artistic collaborations include projects with Marina Abramović, Barry McGee, Todd Hido, and Espen Deitrichson. Together with her brother Alexei, she founded Friend & Colleague, a platform for editions, fiction, and special projects.
